Welcome to Year 2 Oak ClassTeacher: Miss YeomansSupport Staff: Mrs Styles & Miss Harper |
Autumn 1 2026
Welcome back to school Oak class. We are so looking forward to working together this year. This term we are going to be learning about living things and their habitats and belonging and being a good friend. We are going to be finding out what living things are and where they live as well as what belonging looks like in the classroom, which links to how to be a good friend.
We are also going to be looking at place value and different calculations in Maths. In English, we are reading Pattan’s Pumpkin, The Lion and The Mouse & Tidy. We will be writing our own stories in English as well as designing ice lollies and learning about The British Isles. We have a busy term ahead.
Below there are some links to documents, websites and games that can help you with your learning this term. You will also find a copy of this terms home learning.
