At Newlands we are proud that standards for all our pupils, whatever their starting points, are very high.
We focus on learning in-context. We emphasise outdoor learning, visits, trips and residential stays to promote key learning objectives for our pupils.
Exceptional Care, Guidance and Support
Our pupils are confident and feel safe. They have an excellent understanding of what they can do to help and support each other during their time at school.
We currently have school places available for the reception class starting in September 2020. We also have a limited number of spaces in our other year groups. Our web-site serves as a digital prospectus for the school. Applications for school places are available via the Admissions page on the Hampshire website. More information and application forms can be found here.
Newlands is a single-form entry, community primary school. We know our children as individuals and strive to help them find their own unique talents, skills and abilities. We are located in a residential area of Yateley, a town often cited in the top ten most desirable places to live in the country.
The proportion of pupils known to be eligible for free school meals is below average. Almost all pupils are from a White British heritage; very few pupils are from other backgrounds.
