If you child is 4 or will turn 4 before 1 September 2022, they can start school in September 2022. For more information go to www.hants.gov.uk/admissions. Applications open for Hampshire residents on 1 November 2021. THE NATIONAL CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS IS SATURDAY 15 JANUARY 2022

At Newlands we are proud that standards for all our pupils, whatever their starting points, are very high.
We focus on learning in-context. We emphasise outdoor learning, visits, trips and residential stays to promote key learning objectives for our pupils.
Exceptional Care, Guidance and Support
Our pupils are confident and feel safe. They have an excellent understanding of what they can do to help and support each other during their time at school.

Newlands is a single-form entry, community primary school. We know our children as individuals and strive to help them find their own unique talents, skills and abilities. We are located in a residential area of Yateley, a town often cited in the top ten most desirable places to live in the country.
The proportion of pupils known to be eligible for free school meals is below average. Almost all pupils are from a White British heritage; very few pupils are from other backgrounds. The proportion of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities is below average. These pupils include those with moderate learning difficulties, and behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.
